In the future, I think that slowness will be venerated.

Ellande Jaureguiberry was born in 1985 in Paris. He uses drawing early on, but his revelation for ceramics dates from his studies at the Ecole supérieure d'arts et médias de Caen/Cherbourg, from which he graduated with honors in 2016.

Ellande Jaureguiberry's works are projected into space in trompe l'oeil and propose alternative and protean futures. A multidisciplinary artist, he works with sculpture by creating dreamed objects whose moving form is meant to witness the cycles and the passing of time. The artist mixes several centuries of ornaments (Egyptian, medieval, Art Nouveau, Moorish or borrowed from science fiction); he plays with dimensions, the vegetal and the corporal are mixed.

In residence at the Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute (China, 2019) then at the Cité des arts in Paris (2020-2021), Ellande Jaureguiberry has exhibited at the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Louviers, at the Salon de Montrouge and in several group exhibitions in Caen, Arles and Paris. He is represented by A.Romy Gallery in Zürich.
