Ines Alpha
Ines alpha created this 3D face mask during quarantine due to COVID-19.
Following her 3D makeup series, she imagined how humans could look in a fantastic virtual future trying to protect themselves from an invisible threat. Always hugely inspired by sea creatures, people can transform into a half human half octopus, the tentacles filtering the digital atmosphere thus making it more breathable. Ines developed the animation of the tentacles in a way that, to make it look good and accurate, it encourages the user to slow down their movements to feel like you're under the water, connecting the physical and the virtual which has always been key in Ines's work.

A FACE, MANY FACES
The fantastic and dreamlike creations of the French artist Ines Alpha act as personality revealers: they bring an extra dimension, where the strange has its place. Tears become iridescent, flowers grow on the cheeks and colored excrescences turn us into mutant and sensitive beings. Thanks to this new language, Ines Alpha thwarts the uniformity of fashion and questions the future of our beauty. Like a futuristic make-up, digital tools become here a material able to express our singularity as much as our fantasy.
Fascinated by the ability of 3D to transform reality, Inès Alpha reinvents beauty standards in her creations of augmented reality filters. A pioneer of the genre, she collaborates with the biggest names in fashion and beauty.
