THE WORDS FROM ANNESOPHIE BÉRARD, OUR CURATOR :

Born in Germany in 1937, the artist NILS-UDO has been working in and with nature since the early 1970s. His works, which have been shown all over the world, are an ode to the harmony of nature. The walk is the starting point of all his creations. Flowers, leaves, wood, stones... All the materials collected on the spot are a support for creating in situ and deploying the driving force of Life.
Art here is a way of taking part in the environment, of actively investing it in order to be able to grasp its poetic power. The artist's compositions are ephemeral and fragile: their life span depends on external weathering and internal degradation. But they are immortalised in the form of photographs, a trace of this precarious balance, a moment of grace suspended before the cycle of life resumes its free course.

The Caring Gallery is committed to donating 10% of the sale of this work to the partner association of the exhibition.
